I apologize for being so late with this week’s video but some things came up last weekend (including a scratchy throat that made recording difficult) that prevented me from getting the video produced on time. So here it is a few days late. But what we lost in punctuality we make up with in quantity. This is by far the longest video I’ve done yet. But I felt it was good to show you all the tricks I could on the topic and to take as long as was necessary to do it. Don’t worry, I won’t make a habit of it.
In this week’s video I’ll show you some of the custom shape drawing tools in PowerPoint. There are many sophisticated tools out there for creating custom shapes including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but sometimes such tools aren’t available or it’s just easier to create things without having to open up another program. The example I’ll be using is how to create a guitar graphic from scratch. We’ll look at the freeform pen tool, discuss bezier curves, and find some new uses for the shape combine commands I mentioned a few weeks ago.
